On February 18th, the Seaman Middle School drumline performed for the students at Elmont Elementary during the annual State Assessments Kick Off Assembly. The students enjoyed the performance of this outstanding group of young musicians. After the performance, the 3rd through 6th grade teachers, along with a student representative, came forward to help stress the importance of getting a good night’s rest and eating a healthy breakfast during the assessments. The student volunteers were “dressed up” for bedtime and “demonstrated” how to eat a healthy breakfast. (See photos) The assembly ended with the 3rd through 6th graders singing a song called “Test Me” which they had been practicing in music.
